Coaching is a custom-tailored based dialogue between a coach and a leader with the intention of finding creative ways to address challenging problems, improve team and unit performance, accelerate progress on key initiatives, and advance the leader’s career in ways that are sustainable over time. Executive Coaches specialize in developing an executive to optimize their leadership performance and more effectively manage increased overwhelm and stress. Essentially, coaching is the process of helping you get "un-stuck" and moving forward to achieve the success of your goals. Some of the areas coaching can help individuals improve are; driving results, effectively managing down, across, and up, situational leadership, emotional intelligence (EQ), targeted performance areas, and transitioning into new roles.
My objective is for you to praise our hour together as the most impactful hour of your week. In order for us to accomplish this, we need to be clear on what your objective is long term, and for each session. Depending on what your focus is, I may ask you to complete an assessment selected to give us more insight into where we will be starting from. I use a variety of types of assessments that evaluate one or more of the following; your leadership style, communication styles, conflict style, and Emotional Indulgence. If one is required, the cost will be included in the services I provide.
Results. My objective is that you will see a five to ten times return on your investment. If you do not feel this is possible based on your aspirations, you should not move forward with hiring me as a coach. Additionally, you should expect to be challenged, stretched, and expand your current thinking process.
A frequently cited survey by PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the Association Resource Centre found that the mean ROI of coaching was seven times the initial investment. That’s because the effects of executive coaching are far reaching. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) reports that “leaders who participated in coaching saw 50 to 70 percent increased in work performance, time management and team effectiveness.” And the benefits multiply. With strong leadership teams, companies increase their capacity to scale. They benefit from higher productivity, engagement and retention rates, which all profoundly contribute to bottom-line results.
