One-on-one and full team support!
Welcome to Roush Executive Coaching and Leadership Development. My passion has always been learning and helping others, so it is no surprise that I find myself here looking for others who share that passion. After 18 years of leadership experience, I have been blessed to have some really incredible leaders, managers (yes, they are different), and mentors. I have also had my share of those who are not so great. I benefited greatly from organizations that invested in my growth and development as a leader. Now, it is time for me to share that knowledge and insight with you.
I believe leaders are made, not born. We are always changing and evolving to adjust to the changing world around us. However, we either grow or we become stagnant and lose traction while others pass us by. Whether you're preparing for your first leadership role or are a C-suite executive, we all desire to bring our "best-self" to lead others and deliver results and we all hit obstacles along the way.
Whether it is figuring out how to get out of your own way or developing new skills to add to your tool kit. I help you create those "Ah-ha" moments that lead to breakthroughs and open your mind to new ways of thinking and approaching challenges.
Today, many of our leaders struggle with burnout, balancing multiple priorities, maintaining aggressive accelerated growth, and at many times, are just stuck and not able to step back and think on a larger scale. This is where coaching and development come in to launch the performance of individuals and organizations to new heights.
Executive Coaching is an inquiry-based approach to personal and professional development that is aimed at creating awareness, generating action, and facilitating learning and growth. It focuses on improving performance by helping individuals to develop and sustain new perspectives, attitudes, skills, and behaviors.
Executive coaches provide a confidential and supportive sounding board for their clients. They ask questions, challenge assumptions, help achieve clarity, provide resources, and yes, sometimes, with permission, provide advice.
We offer a range of solutions in the form or workshops or leadership training sessions that can be live or virtual.
I get asked this question a lot. If you think about an octopus it has a lot of really powerful leadership qualities. Yes, they can be intimidating and scary, but they’re also very pliable and soft. They adapt to their environment easily and quickly, they’re incredibly smart and creative and can protect themselves when needed (often without harming others), they regenerate and recover quickly when suffering an injury, they can get themselves out of difficult situations, and... I think they’re beautiful.
